Success

Everyone
has some idea of where they would like to be in the future, but the question
is: How do we get there? Establishing goals and writing, them down will help
you to find the answer to this question. Stop wandering aimlessly and begin
developing your plan.
Why establish written goals in the first place?
Written
goals will help you to:
1. Focus on your desires, improve your performance, and
to stay on course.
2. Be happier, reduce stress, and have less anxiety.
3. Increase self-confidence, improve self-esteem and
increase your motivation.
How do I start the process of Establish Goals?
Develop both Short Term Goals and Long Term Goals. - First
you have to decide on what it is that you are trying to accomplish. Make sure your goals are attainable. Goals
that are set to high may very well make you give up. Goals that are set to low
may keep you from achieving your full potential. Break down large goals into
small components. If your long-term goal is to lose, 20 lbs. then set a short-term
goal to lose 3 pounds a week. This helps you to feel good about your
accomplishment each week and builds your self-confidence. Build on your
successes!
Write down your Goals. – Take a few minutes every
day to write down your goals. Keeping it formal will help you to understand
exactly what is you want to achieve. It is okay to adjust your goals, but do
everything you can to stick to your objectives. Think about which friends and
organizations might be able to help you to obtain your goals. Do not be afraid
to ask for the help of others when it may be needed.
Develop your Plan. – What do you have to do to
accomplish your goals? How do I stay motivated? You must ask these important
questions yourself. Write down your plan and make sure it takes into account
your unique personality. Someone else’s plan may not work for you. If you want
to lose weight and you get bored doing the same old routine then develop a plan
that has a variety of activities in it. What will work for you? Hard work and
accomplishments deserve rewards and planning for those will help to motivate
you to succeed. Make sure you update your plan regularly. Add new goals and
always stay positive. Stick to the
Plan!
